VALAKAI KSF

Kai is a 2018 Sport horse gelding by Valentino out of Arcadius (Cabardino). He stands 17.1hh with a correct build. He is a great hunter/equitation prospect for any level rider. He is very quiet with no spook and more whoa than go but carries himself. He is soft in the bridle and responsive to the aids. He clips, ties, baths & trailers and is great for the vet/farrier. He is as bombproof as they come and does not need to be maintained in a full time program or with any sort of consistency. He hacks out alone and with company and is great on the road as well as in the forest. 

 

He has been brought along slowly and only began jumping in August of 2022 and was lightly ridden through the summer of 2021. He goes walk, trot & canter quietly on the buckle or with contact and is well started on lead changes. He has solid flat work and suitable for any level of rider. He moves off leg well and accepts contact. Despite being green, he can take a joke and doesn't get offended at all by rider errors. He can handle a rider that doesn't have a quiet upper body or quiet legs and does not react at all to rider mistakes.

 

Kai is perfect for the client that is not able to keep their horse in a training program full time, and cant afford a made horse. He can be finished by a junior or AA rider safely. He has a puppy dog personality that your grandmother can take on a trail ride with no concerns, or your daughter can take to the show ring after not riding for a week. Kai is the same horse if he is ridden 6 days a week or once a month and never needs to be lunged before getting on. He has been ridden both english and western and he long lines and ground drives.
